Here is another fine late 40's show. Brian often told me that American popular music changed styles every ten years but not aligned by decades, but on the +5's: 1905-15, 1915-25, 1925-35, etc. Of those decades, I think Brian's favorite was 1945-1955.

After the war, the Big Bands were replaced by small bands. The following decade became the age of the vocalist. This show has some of Brian's favorites. Dick Haymes, Patti Page, Margaret Whiting, as well as Frank Sinatra and Judy Garland, are all featured on this show.
