I'm not sure why Brian sometimes used "Rhythm Radio" as an R&B show title on WMUA, rather than "Jump & Shout". This show is also unusual in being only one hour (with news). However, this is an excellent show. Along with some standards, e.g. "The Wallflower" - aka "Roll with me Henry", and one of Brian's favorites, "Convicted" by Oscar McLollie, there are some lovely rarities, like the Ernie Fields Orchestra's version of "In The Mood" and a personal favorite of mine (not really R&B!) "Hearts Made of Stone" by the Fontane Sisters.
